Choose Zoysia Australis for shady yards and less mowing, or Eureka Kikuyu PBR for full sun, kids and dogs.
Zoysia Australis
Shade tolerant, slow growing
A soft, dense lawn that copes with 3 to 4 hours of direct sun, so it suits yards with sheds, fences and big trees. It grows slowly, which means far less mowing.
Sun: 3 to 4 hours a day
Mowing: less often, keep it at 20 to 30mm
Winter: bronzes in frost, greens up in spring
Eureka Kikuyu PBR
Full sun, high wear
A tough, fast-growing kikuyu for big, busy yards. It repairs its own worn patches quickly, so it stands up to kids, dogs and backyard cricket.
Sun: 5 or more hours a day
Mowing: weekly in summer, keep it at 25 to 40mm
Winter: slows down, handles local frosts once established

Our turf comes from Glengallan Turf at Massie, between Warwick and Allora. It’s grown in the same soil, heat and frosts your lawn will live in, then cut to order, so it settles in fast.
Glengallan Turf is an accredited Lawn Solutions Australia grower, and their Lawn Solutions varieties come with a 10-year product warranty.

New turf needs good ground under it. We stock the soil and the starter fertiliser, so you can sort the whole lawn with one call.
Under Turf Soil
A nutrient-rich, free-draining blend to lay turf on. It holds moisture and gives new roots a strong start. The thicker the layer, the better your lawn will grow.
Seeding Top Soil
Screened to 5mm minus
A premium screened top soil that promotes strong root growth and a smooth lawn finish. Weed and nutgrass free, it won’t crust or harden like loam mixes and meets AS4419 pH standards.
Optilawn Granular Fertiliser 25kg
Lawn fertiliser with poultry manure for lush green growth, combining fast and slow-release nutrients for sustained feeding.

Do you keep turf in stock?
No. We order it in from Glengallan Turf, so it’s cut close to the day you lay it instead of drying out on a pallet.
How much turf do I need?
Multiply the length by the width to get square metres, then add 5 to 10% for cuts. A 10m by 8m yard is 80 m², so order about 88 m².
Which turf is best for shade?
Zoysia Australis. It copes with 3 to 4 hours of direct sun. Eureka Kikuyu PBR needs at least 5 hours.
Which turf is best for dogs and kids?
Both handle traffic. Eureka Kikuyu PBR repairs worn patches fastest, so it suits the busiest yards, as long as it gets full sun.
